Squidoo Yourself!

I recently learned about Squidoo, a site where you can post articles about anything. You can even make money there, if people buy things from your links.

It's also a great place to use for publicity. Articles there are called "lenses," and the first thing I suggest you do is write one about yourself.

Here are some of my lenses:

All About Jonathan Fesmire
Duals: Jonathan Fesmire's Awesome Fantasy Concept
Getting Into 3D Art for Free
The Best Audiobooks are Free
What is Fantasy?
Space Aliens - Where Are They?

Please read them. :-) And post when you have your own lenses!

Your lens a really good Shelagh. I realized I had wasted a good opportunity after viewing it so I've changed my lens a lot. It's there now to publicize my books. I haven't changed the link because I'm not sure how!!!
Never mind.

Great suggestion Jonathan. So many promotional opportunities and so little time! I've done mine here:

I joined last summer as another way to promote my August virtual book tour. I'm not sure how sucessful my posts were there but getting your name out in as many places free of charge isn't a bad thing. I may have spread myself too thin. I joined so many groups that I can't possibly be super active in all of them and work on my writing too. So perphas it's my falt for not digging further into it. I'll have to take another look.

I've added a new lens. I think this place might become addictive!

Thank you for bringing this new site to our attention. Of course I have joined. But my word, it is hard work creating a lens.

Hi Jaci,

As soon as your page is published, add a link here. I've created a lens for PublishedAuthors:

There is one comment already. I would appreciate comments from the members here to create a buzz for this site!

Hi Shelagh
And thanks. Since I am interested in helping new writers I've created a lens called:-

It remains to be seen what I can do with this lens or whether anyone will take notice.
