Charlie

This is a great board!

I haven't participated extensively here, but I am nevertheless honored to be a member here. There are different parts to this board that can hold the interest of varied personalities. I enjoy coming just for a visit and inviting new friends to join my growing list. I wanted to say publicly to Shelagh Watkins, "thank you" for putting together a well constructed and well received literary participation board. Thank you for letting me be a part of a very talented group.

Charlie & Ron,
two of a kind. I was attracted to the banter that I missed between the two of you on the old board. I think there are several of us here on this forum from the familiar faces I see. My posts are primarily on the extended forum that Shelagh has set up. She has done an excellent job. She is attentive and is the heartbeat behind it all.

Oh, Man! Now even Abe is flirting with Shelagh.
I'm here to protect you from these silver-tongued devils, Shelagh.

Abe, it sounds like our old romantic buddy, Ron, just wants to do all the flirting by himself. Well, so be it, my mentor. I am not in your league and until further educated I bid ado and yield.

You guys can flirt with me anytime! In fact, why not flirt with all the ladies on the Published Authors forum. We have lots of fun and there are some really pretty ladies to flirt with.

I don't flirt. My only goal is to protect all the beautiful ladies here from these ravenous wordsmiths with questionable motives. I can see right thought those sugary seductions and flamboyant flatteries. They're shameless.

I think Charlie is right. You want them all to yourself. I didn't really think about the flirting aspect - maybe I'm getting too old. I do have a hat though. When I was visiting my hometown in York, PA., someone gave me a baseball cap, and on the front it says in bold letters, "I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was."

Well, one thing is for sure. I am definitely shameless. But I must admit I was totally impressed by that double dose of alliteration, Ron. You must be a writer of sort as well as a romantic.

I am a writer mostly out of sorts. But I'm no match for your flatulent flattery, which by the way, won't work on me either. I must say, however, that it is good to be jousting with my old cowboy comrade again.
How’s that three-legged dog doing? Didn't we name him, or guess his name at one point? Did you ever get him house broken, and do you and your canine companion still have to cuddle up in the same lodging occasionally?

They are Ron, they are! You are a much better judge of character than me ... but I'm catching on slowly!

That was way back in February. So where are all the flirters on Published Authors. There is only one there from this thread. Where are you Ron???? Hmmmmm.... Ooops that's right. He doesn't flirt! *giggle*

I am glad to have joined here. I am a published author. The link to my book web site is below. I would be very interested in looking at everyone else's web sites if they have one.
Sincerely,
