If you are setting up a blog tour, you can also create a widget for your blog that all the blog hosts can paste onto their blogs. This is the widget I created for the Forever Friends Virtual Book Tour. You can add the widget to your own websites and blogs:
I wrote a blog post to send out to blog hosts every day for twenty days. I will now write the twenty-first blog post for my own blog to finish the tour -- exactly three weeks of touring. It was tough and a great deal of work but I did not drive from venue to venue and I slept in my own bed every evening. The posts will remain for much longer than talks and presentations would. Compared to a real book tour, a virtual book tour takes up less time and lasts a great deal longer.
I should have thought about the widget sooner though. It would have been a great help in advertising the blog tour.

Love the widget! Congratulations on your tour. I've been considering a blog tour for some time now, but just haven't settled down to actually doing it. How do you manage the tour, your social networks, writing, and life? I don't seem to have enough hours.

i created a blog tour on lulu.com website...my virtual book promo tour...i need to add stuff soon. i havent been there for a while due to traveling across the world wide web...
I followed the tour, but I really don't understand what I have to do to be a part of the Blogs. I'll study your instructions more thoroughly and get back to you. Hopefully I'll be ready for the next time around, Tony Napoli
