Although this is the second book of the series there is no need of the first because author L-M Owens has written it in a way to explain what has occurred. The lessons of friendship, courage, loyalty and honor are shone in the pages of Darius Master of Dragons: Prince of Legend Book II is worth reading and teaching to all ages, so I recommend this book to all readers.
