Profile Information

My hometown:
I live in Rochester, MA--God's country. It's an area of farmlands and quaint little town. You can miss the center if you blink an eye. Our plaza consists of a general store, a pizza house, bank, lawyer, gift shop, bookstore and a hairdresser.
Across the street is the town hall, library and the Church.
The scenes can be breath-taking and the fall colors fill the streets
My books:
A Healing Heart is my first book which was published November 6, 2006. It's a powerful and emotional memoir about love, faith, family, and hopefully, the actions of God in our lives.
It's a book of spiritual renewal after seeing miracles and traveling on a pilgrimage to Medjugorje in Bosnia. My life changes forever as will the reader's.

Hi Al,

I just saw your comment on my page from September, LOL! I hardly get on this site. I am glad your books are going well. I am doing good. I am writing another one. My agent is already sitting on a bunch of manuscripts already completed so I hope to report to have something good come from that in 2010 if not sooner! Meanwhile I am always writing. I plan to write even more books this year. That's my New Year's resolution!

Best Wishes!

Hope you enjoyed the holidays!

Hi Alberta, thanks for stopping by! I just completed rewrites to a story and submitted it by the way. It's a somewhat sequel to Melody, only because it's a detective series and this recent book is the first installment starring the detectives in Melody. So, I feel you, LOL! Good luck with this one you're working on!

HI Brian,
I had two military distributors overseas that wanted to review my book because of my father's background. PA wouldn't work with them and gave me no explanation on why. Is there anyway I can introduce my memoir into the Military Writer's Society. I'd be happy to send anything that is required; a book, synopsis, business cards, postcards, etc. I'm trying to break through to the military readers. I would appreciate any help or leads that you could send my way.
Thanks!

Hi Alberta,

How nice to hear from you. Thanks for your good wishes for the Book Cover Contest. Glad you like my dogs. They're all gorgeous little rescue dogs who nobody wanted until we came along and gave them a loving home.

Your father had a very distinguished career, and sounds like a very good man to have known. I didn't rise to such elevated rank of course, and was a Personal Assitant to a number of Senior Officers in the Royal Air Force. I was accepted into the Military Writers Society of America on the persoal invitation of the outgoing President of the society, who knew of my military background, and to whom I'd been introduced by a fellow author in Chicago, who was already a member. I was very honoured to be invited to join.

I hope you have a great day,

Best regards

Brian

HI Brian,
We all know how important a book cover is to us authors. That's what gets the reader's attention. Good luck to you.

Hi Alberta,

Thanks for your comment. Glad you like the cover. Yours is pretty good too, though I see Aidana's already beaten me to it in that department. Really nice to hear from you.

Best regards

Brian

Hi Aidana,
There is a great story to the cover of my book. Go to my website www.ahealingheart.net and click on Book Description and the Book Cover. PublishAmerican put it together with the title on top of it.

Has anyone done promoting Internationally? Was it done by ads in newspapers, radio interviews or how?

I try to be interesting. I'm involved with writing, talking at organizations, especially any AA ones, and I instruct Beginning Writer Workshops. All this and the writing of my second book Please, God, Not Two.
Then like all authors, we're nose deep in promoting and marketing our books. I'm tired just talking about it.
