I'm beginning to resent the daily emails from Ghostwriter Extraordinaire promoting their service on a site that, in my opinion, should commercial free. If this sort of 'thing' is allowed, it should be limited. Not a daily unwanted intrusion.
WR.PARK
Dom, I do see a difference. Listing my website as all authors on this site do, is not being overly obtrusive or out of the ordinary like those who attempt to make a living out of taking advantage of those on this and similar author sites. You're c...
Not to be a fart, or anything WR...I do agree a forum should be used to improve a writers skill. Your page has a link to your books, which are for sale. What is the different if goods being offered for sale are done from the front, or back door?

Hometown is Providence, RI, but presently live in the Kansas City area.
My books:
The Franciscan
The Alpha Search
The Missing Hair Shirt
The above Franciscan Trilogy (was reviewed by Publishers' Auxiliary who wrote : "It's very, very good. It's about murder, suicide, extortion, assassins, devilish plots—and the result is a narrative with more twists, turns and terror than a roller coaster through purgatory. It's a ride worth taking."
OVERLAY (was compared to the works of Cussler and Clancy by bestselling author James Rollins)
The Dacian Resurgence (was compared to Ludlum's best work by bestselling author Jon Land)
COMA (to be released in June of this year)
Two bestselling authors read the premise of COMA and wrote:
"Very high concept." F. Paul Wilson
"Sounds very intriguing...you should run with it." James Rollins
I emailed 'Mushy' last week to tell him my grand daughter would be in PR this week. Chelsea is my daughter Pam's oldest daughter (16). Jerry sent Pam some of his painting to sell at a school auction so I thought he'd be interested. But he's never acknowledged my email.
I've got three senior home readings/signing coming up. My wife and I are considering a week in Sonoma next year. Is that the same as Sonoma County, or is that in California?
I'm working on a number of local and regional book signings. The local library always purchases a number of my novels. I'll work on them next.
My agent is excited about 'Fatal Incision', a spin-off of the Jack the Ripper mystery--and has me working on the sequel. I'm in the process of producing a DVD on Fatal Incision for him to use when presenting the MS to a major publisher.
Thanks for the R.I. website, I'll check it out and surely conclude that it is a trip down memory lane.
Jerry is doing okay. He is having eye surgery next month, which is for correction to his botched surgery, but he seems upbeat. email him, he would like to hear from you; I'll bug him to return your correspondence. jerrymushnick@yahoo.com.
How's your new book promotion going?
I will start with the Sonoma County Book Festival September 20th. Taking my camera, after all, most people would be thrilled to take a picture with the author who is only there for one day. Good selling path. I liked your suggestion about senior retirement homes. Of course it should take place just before their lunch time. Afetr that all tend to doze off.
Let's keep in touch. Good luck with the new novel.
I've been concerned about Jerry (his nickname was Mushy) since his eye problem and wreck. Lately I've attempted to reach him with no luck. Is he okay? If you talk to him, ask him answer his emails. There are people concerned about him.
I sure am. I'm Jerry's "baby" brother. He talks about you often. I'm just starting my campaign to promote "Kensington Equation", book one of my Equation Trilogy. The next two are in final draft and on their way to my editor. Just finished my website, www.equationnovels.com Kensington is coming out September 16th. Good luck with your latest. We will chat more in the near term. Nice meting you.
I set up the Published Authors forum for members here. It's a traditional forum with number of views showing. It isn't a replacement for the network but an addition to it. Join the forum, we are a friendly bunch and you will find lots of interesting information:
