In this day and age there are reputable publishers out there that don't require an author to have an agent. Agents are swamped with so many queries a day. There are new, small, traditional publishing houses now that will take an author without an ...

First, Check your contract and see if it gives you an out. Second, I would initiate getting my rights back. I would send the publisher a letter requesting this. Depending on what the publisher says determines your next move. I think I would like...

Hi, Shelagh, I haven't had the time. I did look at the articles. They were good. I do have an idea for an article. I will attempt to develop it soon for you.

Does it Always Feel This Way?

It is out of my hands. It's gone! I feel as though
I have lost my best friend: a loved one. There is an emptiness, not
only in my daily activities, but in my heart as well. A huge hole is
left behind. There are many things to fill it. I don't know where to
start. Nothing seems right.

My baby is gone! Two years of constant attention put into
it. Two years of joy and frustration. It was always there, and now:
nothing.

Sue thanks for your blessings on my trip. I really appreciate it! This is a work trip - a little training time in Moncton, New Brunswick. Should give me a chance to work on my French a bit (which is terrible - my French that is, not the chance to work on it) and I am taking the binoculars with me to do a little bird watching in the evenings too!
See you soon!

Hi Sue,
Thought I would drop by and say hi! I am out of town next week and then looking forward to a long weekend of painting the deck and a trip to the beach. Hope things are going well your way!
Cheers-
Pam

Thank You. I used a professional Illustrator for my book named Bobbi Switzer. I am very happy with how they turned out. The book has 16 full color Illustrations. My website is

http://outskirtspress.com/Bingothebear

ISBN: 9781432707392

I am in the process of publishing my 2nd children's book called Sal and Sally. This book promises to be very successful. I have received many excellent reviews so far, even without the Illustrations. While I am excited about Bingo, I am doing back flips over this one. These two, along with three more are the first out of a series of my All God's Critters novel for older kids and adults. I decided to start with the Toddler books first. All of these books will be published next year.
I am also presently completing a Mystery/Suspense novel to be published in the Jan-Feb issue of Out of the Box magazine. This will be their very first issue also. Hopefully it will catch the attention of Traditional Publishers.
I retired as an Engineer in 2003 and started work on these books. They are on target for publication.
I like everyone else depend on a certain amount of good luck and a great deal of prayers for success.
Please wish me success in this venture.
Thanks
Jay
