Writing has been the way I communicate best since a small child. Since being widowed, it has been my healing and my salvation.
Two published books, countless poems and essays, articles, the recent debut of my novel, RAINY DAY PEOPLE, in its audio format, and an invitation to present at two National writers conferences in the coming months, has me grateful for such rewarding experiences after coming back from the the brink of personal despair.
In my spare time, I work the 'day job', stay active in the Environmental movement, provide a 'place to reflect' Spiritual website, do rough editing services, and tackle the duties of Group Leader for my County's Chapter of the Florida Writers Association.
You might say, writing is pretty much my life now.
Hi, Susan. I recently moved to Gainesville from Sarasota, and still miss the place quite a bit. My beloved dolphins will have to jump awfully high if I am to see them now. Have a happy and rewarding new year.
I've been so busy trying to complete the final chapter of my 230,000-word companion novel to "The Sun Singer" that I've let a lot of things slip, including forgetting my brother's birthday two days ago, keeping up with writing friends, and dusting the top of my desk. Sorry to hear about the computer crash. The drought has been severe and Atlanta is in danger of running out of water in three months unless it can hammer out a deal with Florida and Albama about the amount of water that must be released from Lake Lanier (its reservoir) every month.
It is my pleasure to be apart of The Infinite Writer. I announced that my poem was published in your e-zine in my newsletter yesterday.
Congrats on your audio book. I like your book cover and hope you consider having it featured in the featured books section of Author-Promotion.
IT is very nice to meet you too, Susan. Thanks for accepting my friendship. I love meeting new writers. We have so much to talk about and share. You will be hearing more from me once I know my way around and know what the heck I am doing.

It's nice seeing you. Are you on BMK? I hope I am listed as your friend on there as well.
I look forward to reading the new issue.

Nice to see you in this venue. I'm still working slowly on a novel related to "The Sun Singer." Once that's done, I can finally get to the sequel.
