- My hometown:
- Mostly dry, sometimes underwater, and always at the feet of two-hundred foot redwoods, Guerneville, CA is a town that is a bit difficult to grasp at first; is it a riverfront tourist town, or is it a forest village steeped in the mysticism of its locals and the history of its lumber mill origins? A bit of both, perhaps; but more than either. What I DO know is that it is and always will be my home, and the moment you drive down main street and see the little shops and the odd inhabitants while a redwood audience of lilting titans brushes the wind into fragrant whispers, you will know why.

Why Writing Nothing Can Still Be Cool
As I sit here, typing this thought, I wonder at its true origin. I wonder at how it coalesces someplace in my brain, and then marvel at how it spawns, exits its nest, travels down my arms, through my fingers as they find their appropriate places on keys at which I haven't had to look since I was in grade school, and then appears on this page as, hopefully, mildly interesting text that is then imbibed by your eyes.
