MASTERMIND

he didn’t know
power and knowledge
could be dangerous
that love
of god and country
could pioneer wars
his thunderous clouds
weren’t meant to rain
death and destruction
shifting plates
weren’t meant to target
the poorest poor

erupting plateaus
were not fashioned
to devour
vast tsunamis not designed
to overrun
rising seas and falling snows
convergent boundaries
from flaming ball
to cooling walls

How dare you identify me
as someone other than who I am.
Is my life no more than a title
created by those who claim ownership of me?
Doth those who bear my bloodline
not cross nations and cultures?
Am I not your world's conglomerate
awash in the colors of the blood we all stem from?
Screaming freedom whilst yearning for release

grinding and gifts
from rich people stores

in morning time sunshine
like teacher in evening

her perfect angel
his favorite niece
in pretty pink bows

despoilers of spirit
they defile and abuse me
in secretive places
