Welcome! I'm really happy that you could stop by for a minute or two. Relax, make yourself comfortable while we get acquainted. I was born and raised in a small town in western Pennsylvania called Donora--Home of Champions. (At least that's what the banner says as you drive across the Monongahela river into what we lovingly call the Valley.)
Writing has been a passion of mine since I was a young girl when I found out that I could get folks to listen to me when I told my stories. Well, some folks didn't quite appreciate my creativity back then, but by the time I reached high school, I knew that I would someday become a writer. Remember 'back in the day,' the main form of communication was the letter {not that we didn't have telephones, but they were only used in case of an emergency, sort of like a fire extinguisher}, and the biggest decision we had to make was how to send it--Airmail or Regular! Wow that brings back memories! That's how I honed my skills, writing letters to grand parents, cousins and friends who had been shipped off to camp.
I must admit that I was a closet writer for many years because I feared rejection. Can you imagine that? However, I thank God that I wound up in a place that specializes in eliminating fears--St. James AME Church in Newark, New Jersey. Through the women's ministry, I was able to get back to what I love to do--write. Only this time, writing about spiritual growth and spiritual awareness and spiritual prosperity are the things that I put pen to paper.
If you enjoy reading about facing and overcoming challenges as well as being entertained, enlightened and inspired as you read, then my work is for you.

Working through Spiritual growth is never easy, but oh so worthwhile. Facing what is hidden can be very cathartic and when done openly and honestly, it gives you a whole new perspective on life, love and what's important. Putting away old habits can be quite daunting, even threatening, but with just a little bit of faith, it shows you a new way of viewing your life!
