- Prodigal Daze - An open, and somewhat graphic look at my fall from Grace through my involvement with porn, and sexual sin. It took a near brush with suicide to wake me up and move me back to a relationship with the Father. Thus, the rationale behind the title: Prodigal Daze. I left the Father for a world of sensual pleasure; hit rock bottom; and returned to the Father expecting nothing more than forgiveness. To my surprize, I was restored to the position of Pastor, the very position from which I left under fire so many years ago.
This is a must read book for men and women who have gotten caught up in any "addictive" sin. It will lead the lost back to the Father and His love. A love that never ends.
My second book, titled, Thorn Daze, speaks to my numerous physical problems, the worse being chronic pain and physical suffering. I was at the place in my life where I was slowly growing angry with the Father for not sending me the healing I had prayed for and expected for so long.
It tooks a few years, and additional complications from my chronic pain to make me realize that the greatest Apostle in the early church was not healed from his suffering. I dug deeper into the story of Paul and his thorn, and discovered that God provides for me, even when I'm suffering to point of giving up!
God taught me through Paul's thorn, that I was still His child, and able to complete the tasks He set before me. This lesson was rich in spiritual renewal and it has given me hope beyond the daily pain and suffering. I can now thank Him, where before the lesson of Paul's thorn, I could only question and curse His name.
Thorn Daze: the Painful Truth About Prophetic Teaching/Healing is a must read book for people who have questioned God when they were not healed. There is HOPE in the midst of our personal pain and suffering....
