It was mostly self absorbed drivvle.
Now I don't do books, I do adhoc poetry when the mood takes me and usually because something is getting my goat.

A poem type thingy that I just wrote
Protocols, procedures and paperwork
Any excuse for management to shirk
"Does my tie go with the stripes?
Late for another meeting, oh cripes"
(I would say shit but this is a high brow poem and shit doesn't rhyme)
"Take a letter Ms Jones
And could you answer all these phones?
Someone wants a service?, well my gal
pass them on to the service user PAL
Who will pass them on to their local team
who will forget to call them and act all mean
When they ring back, or maybe disappear
A suicide statistic… Continue

How do you get inspired to write? And is there a set pattern to it, or do things sometimes come to you out of the blue?

Most PHs won't publish your work if they don't have first rights and once it's published anywhere (even the web) then they lose that.
