Nothin' wrong with being from a small town. I was from a town of less than a thousand people. I have lived most of my life in the"Big City" actually Winnipeg is not that big, but at 750,000 it is a lot bigger than the town I was born in and compared to the at my small town is quieter and friendlier.

Hi Glata,

Check yout email settings. Click on "My Settings" top right and then click on "email" on the left. Check that you are receiving prompts for friend requests. When you receive an email with a request, click on the link and the friend request box wil open automatically.

Hope this helps you a bit. If you scroll to the very top of the page, you'll see Ning, your name, an envelope icon, a figure icon, and I believe you'll see the word "new" and click on that. Then you should see a your friend request list with options to accept or decline.

Oh I know what you mean, I was stumbling around a bit myself trying to figure out how to add friends. How about that I see you live in a small mountain town, I drive across two mountains every day to work. In the winter, it's treacherous.

To accept your friend requests, click on the small friends icon at the top of the screen next to the envelope. Then click on "Accept" under the photo icons.
