Do It Yourself Book Trailer conundrum.
That was the advice given to me in one email I recieved.
So I did a little research. Seeing as I used to make wedding videos and edit them with effects and music in my distant past, I thought why not make one myself.
Well I had a go using just still images and music in windows Movie Maker.
The music is royalty free public domain stuff and so too are the images I used.
It was fun doing it and gave me endless ideas on how I could make others.… Continue

The Secret Dummy Of Joshua Bean 2nd edition out next week!
I never liked the old cover so at least now I can be certain that no other book out there has the same cover.
Sadly it's not ready for the Essex book festival but you can't have everything can you?

Do they just want my money? A new authors perspective!
It all happened suddenly for me. I like everyone else have been down the road of submitting to agents and publishers only to receive those mass produced template rejection letters.
One of the writers websites I subscribe to "youwriteon.com" funded by the UK arts council offered each member the chance of free publishing if they were one of the first 5,000 to submit their synopsis by 31/10/08.
