Sometimes I have written something that doesn't flow as in with a drum beating it on but is more, paced and thought out...like a story (with certain threads in it). That is usually to do with people I love or admire. And sometimes I just write stuff that seems to meander and only when I read it back can I see the theme.
so it can vary, and maybe because I am bipolar, different types of writing come out in different moods.
Problem is my writing is as erratic as I am. Can be firing on all cylinders and then flat for ages.
Still, when I am in the thick of something that demands to get out, I feel like the blood is thumping through my veins and that is a wicked feeling.
Poetry comes and goes with me. When I write poems they come to me quickly and are written in minutes. Literally straight from brain to paper. I might go back and change a word but that is about it.
I think that goes with being Bipolar. Fast thoughts and need to get them out...but I can be dry for months, sometimes years before another one comes along.
Such is life and I couldn't write a book, although would love to right my life story (it has been one hell of a trial but some great highs along the way).
How do you get inspired to write? And is there a set pattern to it, or do things sometimes come to you out of the blue?
Bye for now
I am dedicating today to play so will have a longer look at your page and work later.
Bye for now
