Please watch my new video

I have just made my first live YouTube movie titled Tips on How to Write a Book. I would appreciate it if you would watch the video by clicking on to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifEILONyv4E then casting a 5 star vote for it while you’re at YouTube. The more votes it receives, the more it will be made available to new authors who might need the information.
Thank you so very much!

How to Autograph Your Books

Here’s an interesting topic rarely addressed; what is the proper way to autograph a book? New writers and seasoned authors listen up! There really is a “proper” way to sign.
Book buyers love to receive signed copies, so how important is it to present a “properly” inscribed book?… Continue

L. Diane Wolfe's Interview With Author and Publisher Carol Denbow, a.k.a., Author 101

You have quite the variety of non-fiction books – how did this occur?
Well L. Diane, I think I see a need and quickly develop a twisted sort of desire to fill it. My first book, Are You Ready to Be Your Own Boss? was a book I had wanted to write for many years. As a woma… Continue

Review for How to Organize a Virtual Book Tour

“Times are changing and the world of writing has certainly joined this trend. Studies tell us that readers are no longer heading to physical bookstores and libraries in the numbers that we once experienced. So where are today’s readers? Online – and that is where authors,… Continue

How to Organize a Virtual Book Tour

Since I started my virtual book touring agency, I’ve had lots of friends ask me to put their tours together for them. Well I do have a problem charging friends my full fee for book tour organizing, yet it’s hard to say no and stick to my guns, my time is so limited. So I d… Continue

i am Carol just waiting for the weather to get warmer so here's a poem of mine for you. Cheers alan brunwin.
Spring is around the corner. poetry by alan brunwin
The winter months seemed long with days of grey and clouds so bleak. Daffodils bulbs lay under the cold soil slowly wakening from their winter sleep.
Trees of such pride stand so bare, waiting in a lonely silence for the sun with its warmer care. On roof tops the odd bird casually flicks its wings, waiting impatiently to start its chirping at the first sight of spring. Sea gulls begin passing over our heads, going off to the sea shores where they are sure to be fed. The odd rabbit puts its head out of his burrow, “It’s not spring yet,” he thinks, “Perhaps tomorrow.”
The Fox has had a hard time through the winter months, he’ll be glad of spring there be more to munch.
Squirrels have now awakened from their long winter dream; one by one they get a welcome drink from their local stream. Then at last that joyful day arrives, little snow drops spread their petals of beauty to welcome in the long awaited spring skies.

Carol:
I read your comment and wish to thank you and apologize for the lateness of my response. I am not good at doing this everyday and will probably not start to be good at doing that. However, I do truly appreciate your warm comments and want you to know that. I believe we are very blessed to have the family we have. I recently added a photo of my dad who celebrated his 90th birthday and 40th year at the school on the same day. The school had a great celebration for him last year, I guess this year will be about the same. He continues to work there and enjoy the kids and his interaction with them. I hope to complete a book of poetry of just a book if possible. I have been involved in many things and would like to tell my dad's story if there is one there. His photo has been a visitor to the Cowboy Hall of Fame museum in Oklahoma, and it currently hangs in the City Hall in Refugio County, Tx. Louise O'connor is responsible for the book 'Cryin for Daylight' and my cousin, K.J. Oliver, gave the book the title. Whether I can put a story together to talk about the cowboy in the South, Southwest is a good question. I am currently back in college and hoping to obtain my teacher certification next year. I would like to teach special education in the final analysis. I live on a ranch in south Texas and have Arabian and Quarter horses. We hope to breed both groups and have some prime horse flesh to put on the market. We spend much time working with the horses and offer training and riding lessons to horse and rider. We are just getting started so please, wish us luck. Let me hear from you at your convenience. Hope your Thanksgiving was a success and Christmas will be even better for you and your family.
Much, much love to you and thank you for your warm message and compliments on my photo.
Love, Sincerely,
June

Hi again, Carol:
Well, I did see my photo...glad I finally made it.
Oregon is beautiful and we were supposed to come out there last Thanksgiving, but did not. This year Thanksgiving is in Almagordo, NM but I will be staying home in Texas.
I, too have grown children, all girls...3 of them, two are adopted. My biological daughter has given me two beautiful grandsons. One is a musician and plays in a band. They are currently touring in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC. That seems to be the common thing to do...the music is beyond me:) but he is good at the Bass and Drums. Primarily he plays Bass. He is Danyl and is 21. Davis, the doll of the group is 19 and is currently working at Victoria's Secret! That causes great concern for me:) He is a sweet guy and is outgoing and friendly. We have talks that you would not believe and I am so happy that he confides in me. He will be ok in that job, but has to work at not getting too involved with the ladies!:) My happiest day was the delivery of these boys into my life. I can hardly wait for your day to come!
Take care,
June
