Hello.
I am Richard. My username on here is CocacolaCowboy. I have had that name for many years, since 1979. I started driving a truck (18 wheeler) then and that was my CB Handle. I still use it today as I still drive, only I am home every weekend and most nights each week. (Too old to be gone all the time these days.) I am also a minister and have an Internet ministry now. We are seriously considering starting a church, but we are waiting on the Lord for His leadership in this venture. I don't want to get the cart ahead of the horse, if you know what I mean. Besides all of this, I am my wife's care giver. She is disabled due to compression fractures in her lower spine and also has Rhuematoid Arthritus, which as you know is a crippling disease. She is in a power chair and that is her only way of mobility these days. When I am on the road, we have a visiting nurse who comes to care for her, and our neighbors are always available.

I am here at the invitation of Alice Crooker, my dear friend on the internet. She is also my email pal, if that is what you want to call it. Anyway, we email each other often. Alice has uplifted me when I have been down in the dumps and she stands by her friends, come hohw.

Hello fellow authors
My name is Wesley, most of my intimate friends call me Dove. I'd like to think it was because of my peaceful nature, not to be. That is my late father's name, God bles his soul. Where to begin, I've always been hard headed and stubburn, and if you told me I couldn't do something, I found a way to do it. That is excatly how I found myself in Banking. That wasn't my career choice, that was Urban Planning and Developement. I chose Banking because every time I applied, I was denied.(there goes that rhyming thing again), I just kept bugging them until they relented.
I never thought I'd accomplish anything outside of Banking, that was my whole life from 1979 through 1995, brought to a blissful end by one too many bank mergers, I worked for Corestates Financial and we were gobbling up every bank we could in the 80's and 90's then we got too big for our britches, and others were watching, and we were gobbled up. I am the proud father of three children 1 son Koron, 2 daughters, Ma-ica, and Aja, I have three grands all boys, two from my son and one from my oldest daughter Ma-ica. I came to writing poetry by accident, and by challenge. (read more on this later) I love the complexcities in poetry, for me the rhyme is the thing, I like to challenge myself to rhyme without losing the essence of the work. I appreciate all forms of poetry, but even when I try not to rhyme, they just appear, so I accept this gift without pause. I've published two books to date, the first "My Daddy My Daughter" with my youngest daughter Aja. "Iridescent Waters" is my solo project, I hope to complete "Tears-The other side of water" early 2008. I am working on my first novel a physcological thriller, sorry can't divulge the title or contents yet, I'm learning to keep some things to my self. That is a little of who I am, I hope you discover all of who I am, as I plan to be active in the forum here.

Hello! My name is Tom LaLumiere. I am a first time author and will have my first novel published very shortly. Entitled "A Reason To Try" it is about a teenager who joins the Track Team in High School and competes in the pole-vault. Along the way, he learns some very important lessons about life, love, the type of person he really is and the type of person he wants to be.

I am also working on a second novel. There is no title for it yet but it will be about five military veterans who turn modern day pirate and are then recruited by the Federal Government to do "work" for them. I am hoping to have that novel finished within the next six months.
