Hello Charlene

I was just browsing a bit here and came across your open book image on someone's friend list. I wanted to let you know that what impressed me to look further into your page here, was your chosen image. Simply that of an open book.

My best to you . . . my dearest and longest friend lives in Las Vegas. Our fathers were friends before us.

Hi My name is Cindy Jost. I have been married for 12 years and have two boys. My first book Will Your Wants was released by Publish America last week and I am very excited that I accomplished something nobody expected of me. I am currently working on my second book, but unlike Will Your Wants, which is a more inspirational change your attitude type book, the new one (can't release the name yet) is a futuristic fantasy sci-fi. I am glad to be a part of this site and look forward to learning many new things.

Hello, my name is Wendy Woods, and am independent author of women's fiction. I've been writing ever since I could remember, thanks to my Second Grade Teacher, Mrs. Lee. I enjoy spinning tales in my head, envisioning characters come to life, and sharing them with the public. I am a mother and grandmother of one grand daughter. I love to travel and seek out of the way shops to explore. I live in Tennessee, not far from the Great Smokey Mountains. Someday, I would love to live by the ocean, or close to it.

Hi Lawrence,

Welcome to the forum! Good luck with the book; I hope you find a publisher. Your last setence reminds me of something I wrote in Mr. Planemaker's Flying Machine:

As soon as the boat was finished, however, his mother could not hide her admiration -- the boat was a masterpiece of patience rewarded.

My name is Denny Griffin. I'm originally from Rome, New York, but now live in Las Vegas, Nevada.

I began writing in 1996, following a 20-year career in investigations and law enforcement in New York State. I currently have six fiction and three non-fiction books published. My non-fictions are about Las Vegas police and organized crime history, specifically the Tony Spilotro era. This is the same time period dramatized in the 1995 movie Casino, in which actor Joe Pesci played a character based on Spilotro. My latest release (July 1, 2007) is CULLOTTA – The Life of a Chicago Criminal, Las Vegas Mobster, and Government Witness.

Hi everybody, my name is Charlie. I live in Idaho where I was born and raised. I'm about three hours south of Yellowstone National Park. Several authors who I know and admire are here so it seemed logical that I also join. I hope you all will have me. I write under the name of Joshua Berry. It was chosen to pay tribute to two of my ancestors, ggg grandfather, Joshua Teague, born 1827 in Illinois and gggg grandfather, Francis Berry, born 1801 in London, England. I have one book published called Andrea's Dream and eight (8) short stories on Amazon Shorts. I look forward to visiting from time to time and learning from a talented pool of authors.
