I've been over on a couple of other ning networks, and now have just found this one. Great to be here.

I'm Director of Bauu Institute and Press, a small research and publishing company located in Boulder, Colorado.

I am also Editor of Indigenous Issues Today, a news blog focusing on issues important to indigenous peoples from around the world.

Finally, I am Publisher of New Great Books, a site that posts reviews and blurbs about great new books from a wide range of authors, including self-published or independently published authors.

My two books are fairly academic: Respect for the Ancestors: American Indian Cultural Affiliation in ..., and mtDNA, Y Chormosome Genetic Data, and the Peopling of North America.

I have three more in the works, but they keep getting pushed back as I do my other activities.

Hi folks! Thanks for all the nice welcomes. I'm glad to be here!
About me... it has all been done before at a million sites (well, nearly!) and you can find most of them at the Hang Out page at my book site http://www.faithawakened.com... Myspace, Shoutlife, Facebook, Bebo, you name it, I'm probably there!

At the end of March I am leaving Germany to head for Ireland, after a while I will get back to good old New Zealand where I hope to do a LOT more writing than has been possible in these seven years in Europe. Something to do with the pace of life I think... In any case, I will be on the road for much of this year, so I don't know how much I'll be able to contribute here, but it sure is nice to meet you all. :)
